Skateboarding in February!

We experienced a warm weekend here in MI....FINALLY! It was 45-50 degrees and we were so excited to see everything meltin away! Saturday we spent the day with Mark's brother, sister-in-law and our nephew and us girls went shopping with the baby...we actually drove with the windows down and when the wind got too strong for the baby we rode with the air on! Mark has been itching to get his skateboard out but I haven't wanted him to because I've been afraid of icy patches on the street. Well, Sunday he got it out and was so excited! When we got home from church we saw everything melting and being the non-winter people that we are I said to Mark "Let's get shovels and get the rest of the driveway cleared off....even if it's a false sense of Spring, it'll make me feel better to see concrete!!" We're supposed to be at almost 60 tomorrow, then lower 50's and then being the great state of Michigan - back to snow on Thurs. and a potential snow storm next week. Oh how I can't wait for Spring... :)
